Who we are

Open Workout System ("OWS") is operated by Loop & Pixel LLC, a limited liability company registered in the United States. Loop & Pixel LLC is the data controller for the personal data described here. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Loop & Pixel LLC.

What we collect

Open Workout System (OWS) stores the data you put into it: your profile (name, email, optional photo), fitness data (workouts, exercise logs, body measurements, nutrition entries, goals, programs), optional progress photos, and the messages you exchange with the in-app AI assistant. We do not collect data from other apps or devices unless you explicitly connect them.

Where it lives

Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage) under your account. Progress photos are private to your account. Exercises, sessions, and programs you contribute to the public library are published under your community handle.

AI processing

When you use the in-app AI assistant, relevant parts of your fitness data (profile, recent logs, goals) are sent to the configured AI model provider to generate responses. AI-estimated values (calories, macros, body composition) are estimates, not medical measurements. The AI assistant is not a medical professional.

Connected AI clients

If you connect your own AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, or another MCP client), it accesses your account through a scoped connection that you approve explicitly. Connected clients can read your fitness data and write logs, programs, and goals on your behalf — they cannot access admin features or your progress photos. Every action is recorded in your activity log. You can revoke any connection instantly from your Account page. What a connected AI provider does with data it reads is governed by that provider's own privacy policy.

Payments

If you subscribe, our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle collects and processes your payment details — we never see or store your card number. We receive only your subscription status and the email address associated with the order, which we use to grant access to paid features. Paddle's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not share your personal data with third parties except the infrastructure, payment and AI providers described above, as needed to run the service.

Deletion & export

You can delete individual entries (logs, photos, messages) in the app. To delete your account and all associated data, or to request an export, contact us at the address below.
